For the Person I Love the Most centers on an unanswerable ethical question: “Is it okay to film my sister?” The film examines familial intimacy shaped by bipolar disorder and intellectual disability, focusing on communication through gesture, silence, and presence rather than identity, consent. Through moments of proximity without access, the work reflects on the ethics of representation while situating a deeply personal experience within a broader political context.
